Return, Refund & Replacement Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
At DriveStack, we want every order to be a positive experience. If you experience a problem with your order, please contact us first so that we can understand the issue and help you find the appropriate solution.
This policy applies to purchases made through DriveStack and is subject to any mandatory consumer rights applicable to your purchase.
1. Product Support Comes First
If a product is not working as expected, please contact drivestack8@gmail.com before requesting a return.
Depending on the product and circumstances, our support team may first assist you with troubleshooting, setup, installation, charging, configuration, or other reasonable steps that may resolve the issue without requiring a return.
We may request:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos or videos of the product
- Photos of the packaging where relevant
- Information about how the product was used
- Other reasonable information needed to assess the issue
Our goal is to resolve genuine product issues as quickly as possible while avoiding unnecessary returns.
2. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your product arrives damaged, defective, unsafe, or is not the product you ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at drivestack8@gmail.com.
We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required under the applicable consumer protection laws.
Where permitted by applicable law, the resolution may include troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or refund.
No return fee or restocking fee will be charged where applicable consumer law prohibits such a charge.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
3. Change-of-Mind Returns
In addition to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law, DriveStack offers a 14-day voluntary return period for eligible change-of-mind purchases.
The 14-day period begins when you receive your order.
To qualify for DriveStack's voluntary change-of-mind return policy, the product must generally:
- Be unused and in its original condition;
- Be unworn, where applicable;
- Have its original tags attached, where applicable;
- Include its original packaging, accessories and components; and
- Include sufficient proof of purchase.
You must contact drivestack8@gmail.com before returning the product.
Do not send a product back without first receiving return instructions from DriveStack.
4. Return Costs & Handling Fees
Change-of-mind returns can involve significant processing, inspection, handling and logistics costs.
For eligible voluntary change-of-mind returns, a flat return handling fee may be deducted from the refund, where permitted by applicable law.
The customer may also be responsible for the cost of returning the product to DriveStack where permitted by applicable law.
Any applicable return fee will be communicated to the customer before the return is authorised.
Return handling fees do not apply where applicable law requires DriveStack to bear the return cost or prohibits such deductions, including qualifying statutory returns for defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
5. Restocking
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, DriveStack may charge a reasonable restocking or handling fee where permitted by applicable law and where this fee has been disclosed to the customer before purchase.
The fee may account for reasonable costs associated with receiving, inspecting, processing, repackaging and preparing returned merchandise for resale.
A restocking fee will not be used to reduce a refund where applicable consumer law prohibits such a deduction.
6. Products That Have Been Used
Products purchased for personal use should be inspected carefully before use.
Where a customer exercises a voluntary change-of-mind return after using, installing, modifying, damaging, or otherwise handling a product beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, DriveStack may reduce or decline the voluntary refund where permitted by applicable law.
This does not affect statutory rights relating to products that are defective, unsafe, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly supplied.
7. Non-Returnable Products
Certain products may not qualify for DriveStack's voluntary change-of-mind return policy where permitted by applicable law.
These may include:
- Personalised or custom-made products;
- Products made to a customer's specifications;
- Products that cannot reasonably be returned due to their nature;
- Perishable goods;
- Sealed hygiene or personal-care products that have been opened;
- Certain hazardous materials; and
- Other products for which applicable law provides an exception.
These exclusions do not remove mandatory consumer rights relating to defective, unsafe, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products.
8. Exchanges
DriveStack does not guarantee direct exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
Where a customer wants a different product, model, colour, size or variant, we may recommend returning the original product under the applicable return policy and placing a new order.
This does not affect any statutory remedy available for defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
9. Refunds
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, refunds are processed only after the returned product has been received and assessed.
Where a refund is approved, any applicable and legally permitted return or restocking fees will be deducted before the refund is issued.
Refunds will generally be made to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Where applicable law requires a refund within a specific period, DriveStack will comply with that requirement.
10. International Orders
DriveStack serves customers internationally.
Consumer protection laws vary between countries. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace any mandatory consumer rights applicable to your purchase.
Where the laws of your country provide additional cancellation, withdrawal, return, repair, replacement, refund, warranty, or other consumer rights, those rights will continue to apply.
International customers may therefore have rights that differ from DriveStack's voluntary return policy.
11. Returns Must Be Authorised
To protect both customers and DriveStack, all voluntary returns must be authorised before being shipped back.
Products sent to DriveStack without prior return authorisation may be refused or returned to the sender where permitted by applicable law.
